From 51,348 to 1,28,976: MBBS Seats in India More Than Double Since 2013

In a major update shared in Parliament, Union Minister of State for Health, Smt. Anupriya Patel revealed that MBBS seats across India have skyrocketed to 1,28,976 up from just 51,348 in 2013-14. That’s a massive 151.18% jump! At the same time, number of medical colleges has grown from 387 to 818, marking an 111.36% increase.
